How do I care for Tillandsias (air plants)?

In your home Tillandsias need bright, indirect light- a west, east or south window during the winter, but no direct sunlight. Immerse them in water at least twice a week (depends on how dry your house is), and soak them for 4-5 mins. You should fertilize them once a month only, do not over fertilize! When you bring them out of the water turn them root side up to dry a few minutes.They love good air circulation, and are tolerant of a wide range of temperatures , but prefer a nice mild 70 (like most of us!)
